The European Parliament will issue a directive in 2023 obliging insurance companies to issue and regularly update a pre-emptive recovery plan. Member states will designate a national resolution authority which may oblige insurance companies to internal restructuring as part of the resolvability assessment.

Francis is a Principal Consultant in charge of our insurance practice in Dublin. He has 15 years of experience within the life and non-life (re)insurance industry. His expertise covers the areas of financial reporting, prudential regulation, and actuarial modelling. Francis has worked in both industry and consulting with extensive exposure to Solvency II and BMA-regulated clients and a keen eye on new regulatory developments.

Artjom Altenhof
Senior Consultant - Fellow member of the Belgian Actuarial Association IA|BE - Expert in BMA EBS and Solvency II regulations

Artjom is an actuary with 10+ years of experience in prudential regulations (Solvency II and BMA EBS) and IFRS 17. He has acquired extensive EBS experience in working for a large BMA regulated IAIG for 3 years on various projects such as performing BSCR calculations, rating agency capital requirements and migration of risk systems. Moreover, he has expertise in market risk and recovery planning.

Jayadevan Vijayan
Senior Consultant – Expert in Pre-emptive Recovery Planning / Actuarial and Risk Modelling / AXIS

Jayadevan is a qualified Life Actuary with expertise in actuarial modelling, reporting and insurance regulation. He has gained significant Actuarial risk modelling experience through AXIS & SQL model migration projects, and setting up valuation models in AXIS. Jayadevan has also worked in a risk manager capacity where he has developed recovery planning documents and is well versed with the guidelines and regulations for recovery planning.

Eóin Stack

Eoin is a Senior Consultant in the Finalyse risk advisory insurance practice based in Dublin. He is an Associate of the UK Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary. He has experience in end-to-end monthly and quarterly statutory valuations, ORSAs, experience investigations and system migrations for clients. He has expertise in Solvency II and strong modelling experience in SAS and Python.
