Trainee
Trainees generally join Finalyse after graduating from college or university. As a Trainee your work atmosphere will be characterised by learning. Intensive training and continual learning opportunities are part of a trainee’s development program. In addition, you will be able to work in project teams within different financial companies solving a wide range of financial problems. Your specific responsibilities as trainee will span a wide range of activities. To give you an idea, trainees will spend a lot of their time on analysis, creating innovative methods for specific problem solving, team meetings and client visits. Trainees are generally promoted after two years to the grade of consultant.
Consultant
Our consultants develop solutions for the most advanced and difficult problems our clients face. They contribute to the professional image of Finalyse and are responsible for communicating results to Finalyse team members and clients. As a consultant you will have the opportunity to broaden your experience as you work directly with managers and other consultants in an open and collaborative relationship.
Senior Consultant
MBA graduates or other candidates with advanced degrees and 2-4 years relevant professional experience join Finalyse as senior consultants. The work of a senior consultant is very similar to that of a consultant, but senior consultants carry responsibilities in the form of coaching and supervising less experienced coleagues from the outset. Finalyse is committed to broadening your business knowledge beyond your academic degree and previous working experience both through involvement on challenging projects and professional certifications.
Manager
Finalyse managers are proven professionals generally promoted from within the firm’s senior consultants. However, some outstanding professionals may be invited to join Finalyse at manager level. Managers are responsible for the tactical coordination of Finalyse resources on projects. In addition, they tackle the execution of projects within a certain Business Area. Managers also formulate and execute the commercial strategy of Finalyse in a certain Business Area. The typical time-frame for promotion from senior consultant to manager is two years depending on performance.
Expert
Finalyse experts are professionals with a track record as outstanding senior consultants who have demonstrated valuable expertise in Finalyse’s core activities. They are responsible for the management of Finalyse’s ‘know how’ within a certain technical domain. They keep ahead of the latest developments in that domain and strive to continually improve Finalyse’s competitive position. They keep one eye on the finance industry “big picture” and the other one on the technical details. In addition, they interact with managers and partners on tactical and strategic issues.
Director
Finalyse directors are chosen from within the firm’s manager group. They are seasoned professionals who have demonstrated extensive domain knowledge and exceptional intellectual and management skills. Directors guide strategic decisions and take overall responsibility for a specific operational area. In addition to client work, Finalyse directors also play a key role in several internal processes such as recruiting, professional development and coaching.
