I've been working on challenging Business Intelligence (BI) projects in the financial services sector from the beginning of my carreer at Finalyse 5 years ago. During this period of time, I have also taken part in many Finalyse sport events and have attended all the incentive trip which occurs once a year (we visited among others Firenze, Carcassonne and the Belgian coast). One of the things I really love about working at Finalyse is that I enjoy spending time with my colleagues.

Last year, the management asked me to endorse the role of BI manager. Being promoted from senior consultant to BI manager certainly marked a big transition in my career at Finalyse. Having this broader set of responsibilities means my activities throughout a given week are more varied than before. I face a new challenge every week : how to best allocate your time when there are always too many things to be done. In the last six months I have worked on a number of internal projects aiming at developing our BI services: development of Finalyse Project Management methodology and BI internal training sessions, writing the content of our last recruitment campaign and our brandnew web-site.

After a first experience as equity and derivatives broker, Finalyse offered me the possibility to exploit all of my creativity to develop functional, organisational and data related models, in the very epicentre of the financial universe. Finalyse gave me the opportunity to combine Finance, mathematics, IT, project management and service to clients, all in the same challenge.

Finalyse significantly accelerated my career. Unlike other companies where patience governs your career, Finalyse helped me to grow rapidly through very rich and diversified assignments, coaching by senior consultants, internal and external training and most of all encouragement to express my ideas and put them into practice.

That is how after just a few years of consulting in areas like risk management, economic capital, insurance, performance measurement and attribution, financial instrument pricing and straight through order processing, Finalyse supported me in taking major responsabilities at the new office in Paris.

Today I'm co-managing a subsidiary while still getting a lot of satisfaction from contributing to the success of our clients' projects.
